There are now two ways to give!
Blue River Rail Trail or Blue River Rail Trail Corridor.
The Blue River Rail Trail Corridor is about to be transformed once again!
This time it's going from an abandoned railbed to a beautiful linear park with a trail that will connect the Blue River Rail Trail to Pony Park and downtown Marysville. It will be a place to bring your kids to play on the playground, gather with friends for coffee or a game of bocce, or take a walk on the tree lined trail.
Grant funding is being pursued but we as a community need to do our part by providing match money for the grants. The best time to donate is this Friday, May 1, when Marysville Community Foundation hosts their annual Pony Up Marysville Match Day. Pony Up Marysville Match Day 2025
Pony Up Marysville Match Day is a big day for the Blue River Rail Trail. The financial support that we receive on that day allows us to maintain and improve this beautiful slice of Marshall County! If you have had the opportunity to spend time on our trail you know! It is special!
2024 was a big year with the addition of the kids bike park and restroom but there is more to come. Plans for 2025 include a water fountain and single track trails at the Jayhawk trailhead. We're also working to keep trail users safe so we're re-decking bridges and realigning the trail at Marietta to provide more space between the trail and the Co-Op.

Pony Up Marysville Match Day 2024
Coming this summer to the trailhead at Jayhawk Road is an all new Bicycle Playground complete with rollers, berms, a tunnel, giant construction cones to weave through and more!

The Blue River Rail Trail received 82 gifts totaling $31,837.86!

We would also like to thank the Marysville Community Foundation Board of Directors for their work to make Match Day a success for all of the organizations that participate. Because of their efforts, the BRRT will be receiving an additional $3,000 in match money!
